Experience multiple short plays while supporting local playwrights and actors at Scene One Theatre’s next “Short Attention Span Theatre.”

This will be the 15th installment of SAST since Scene One Theatre began putting them on in 2006.

The evening will revolve around six 10-minute original plays written by local playwrights. With this year’s theme being “The Bathtub,” the writers were prompted to write something inspired by the freestanding clawfoot tub on stage, either in its intended use or as something different, such as a boat.

This family-friendly show kicks off Scene One’s 20th season.

The short plays include “A Night Alone” by Mary Schants, “The Blind Heist” by Darin Garnett, “Tub of Time” by Tracy Wegman, “Wet Feet” by Amy Pringer, “Where There’s a Will, There’s a Tub” by Mark Wegman, and “Where’s the Tub?” by Mary Jo LaCorte.

“Short Attention Span Theatre: The Bathtub” opens June 20 and also runs June 21-22 and 27-29. The shows begin at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 and can be reserved on sceneonetheatre.com.
